Absent culture is a corporate culture where absenteeism is commonplace, and the company allows it. Some staff easily take several days off without justification for this.

Although, in some cases, planned absence can have a positive impact on staff productivity, however, it can be a problem when many staff picks it up. It can disrupt the rhythm of work in teams and hurt business performance.
