A priori

A priori means based on logical analysis or theoretical deduction rather than on observation or personal judgment. Calculations in a mathematical equation are a priori examples because we don’t need to prove them in real terms that they are right. We know that, for example, 10 plus 15 will be equal to 25. We see the result is 25, from a theoretical deduction.
